  • What are eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are synthetic fibres in the shape of eyelashes that are glued onto each individual natural eyelash. They remain on the natural lash until the lash organically falls out of the eyelid. They last from 6-8 weeks, depending on your lash cycle and how quickly they shed. Although they last over a month, it’s recommended to get refills every 2-3 weeks.

  • How long does it take?

All full sets take around 2.15 hours, this includes a consult, lash cleanse and application. We’ll also cover aftercare at the end of the appointment.

Refills take from 1 hour to 1.45 hours, depending on how many weeks between fills.

  • Do I need to get refills?

Refills are essential to lash extensions, so be prepared to maintain them. Although extensions last over a month, it is recommended to get refills every 2-3 weeks to apply lashes to the newly grown through extensions and remove the grown-out lashes. These lashes can become twisted and flip upside-down and become annoying.

  • How long do extensions last?

Without any refills or a professional removal, they usually 6-8 weeks, however, the aftercare will affect how long the last extensions last. 6-8 weeks is the average length of a lash cycle.

  • Can I remove them myself?

NO! I offer free removal of extensions for all my clients. It takes about 20-40 minutes and leaves your lashes damage-free. Attempting to remove the lashes yourself can greatly damage your natural lashes, and while they will grow back, it's not an ideal outcome.

  • What is a lash lift?

A lash lift is a semi-permanent procedure that gives you the appearance of fuller, thicker eyelashes without the use of any leave-on chemicals or extensions. A lash lift lasts about 6-8 weeks. Once your curled lash naturally sheds, a new one grows back through straight. Once your lash cycle has completed, all of the curled lashes will be gone.
